Fortuna Vision Active
Fortuna Vision Active is a project concept for active leisure and accessible events for people with visual impairment and others who need support to take part in active leisure.
Status: project concept. A launch is not confirmed: there is no budget, no partners and no dates yet.
What we plan
- Guided walks.
- Swimming.
- Accessible events.
- Volunteer accompaniment of participants.
- Tandem cycling.
Why
Active leisure and company matter for health and for taking part in community life, yet for many people with disabilities they remain hard to reach.
What is needed to launch
Partners from organisations that work with people with disabilities, trained volunteers, equipment, insurance and safeguarding of vulnerable people, and funding. Until these are in place we do not announce events.
