Status
Part of it exists, and part is planned.
- Running: English practice at community meetings.
- Concept developed, we plan to start in the near future: multilingual materials, digital literacy and AI, enterprise education, professional development.
We will begin with a small set of materials and a trial group.
Parts of the programme
- English Speaking Club. Conversation practice in small groups.
- Digital literacy and AI. Using digital tools and artificial intelligence safely and sensibly; people make the decisions.
- Enterprise education. Linked to Business Hub.
- Professional development. Skills for work, a CV, interviews.
- Multilingual platform. Adapted materials in several languages, explained in plain words and collected in one place.
- International partnerships. Educational organisations and exchange programmes, once confirmed.
Why
The first months in a new country are a flood of questions. The answers exist, but they are in English, scattered over dozens of websites and written in officials' language.
