Fortuna Community at the business forum in Drogheda

On 10 October 2026 a business forum took place in Drogheda. It was organised by Culture Connect and brought together entrepreneurs, local government, educational institutions and business support organisations. The Mayor of Drogheda took part, together with representatives of Local Enterprise Office Louth, TU Dublin, Louth Local Development and Helping Networks.

The programme mixed practical advice with stories from entrepreneurs. Speakers explained how to get support for a business through the Local Enterprise Office in Louth, introduced the Changemaker education programme and the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs exchange, and shared their own experience. The talks covered starting and growing a business, social entrepreneurship, learning from other countries, and the move from working alone to building a system and a team.

What we presented

Fortuna Community was represented by our founder, Nikolay Klinkov. His talk was called "Guerrilla marketing: how to grow a business without a budget". The main idea: you can win clients with what a business already has, such as its customer base, partnerships, recommendations and a strong offer. The talk focused on practical ways to attract and bring back clients, to grow word of mouth and to raise the value of a product without big advertising costs.

Nikolay also presented two of our business initiatives, Business Hub and Business Booster. They exist to share experience, build business contacts and help entrepreneurs bring their ideas to life in Ireland.

What we take from it

The forum underlined a principle that matters to us: a community grows when it understands what use it can be to people and which local problems it can help to solve.
